What do home healthcare services cost?

Fees will vary depending on the type of service provided.

Stanhope offers private care services based on a schedule of fees per service.  The cost to you will ultimately depend on the volume and type of care you require and the State that you live in.

If you are eligible to receive subsidised care through the Government you may be required to make a contribution towards the services you receive.  More information on this contribution fee is available from your service provider.

Do Home Care staff receive any training?

Stanhope Nursing staff are Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses or Assistants in Nursing.  Personal Carers will either have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Disability Care or demonstrated years of experience as a carer.

What can I do if I am not happy with a particular Nurse or Care Worker?

In this situation we would urge you to discuss the issues of your service with your Care Co-ordinator in the local Stanhope Office.  If no resolution can be found we will replace the Care worker with a suitable replacement.
